This is what I got for waking up in VEGAS...

This is the first time I have gone to Las Vegas and gotten paid to be there.
The Fountain Valley Royal Regiment had a competition in the City of Sin so, Jenn and I and the rest of the FVRR staff and students traveled to Las Vegas for the weekend.

We arrived in Vegas at 12:45 a.m. Friday night but I love Vegas so much, I had to go walk the strip for awhile with Brandon even though it was already so late. So glad I did. Pai Gow + Drinks.. So fun!!

Saturday was competition day. The girls did well despite the dry air and the crazy wind storm that was knocking over all their props during the show. They fought through it all and placed 2nd in Semi-finals and came back to take 1st place in Finals.

Saturday Night - Jenn and I went to TAO :)

We were both craving a ridiculous dance session and we succeeded. After that I ended up playing PAI GOW for the rest of the night - I went on a crazy winning streak and won around $3,000 for Brandon, since I was playing with his money :). At 5:30 a.m. I met back up with Jenn and we had a private tour of this awesome hotel.
This is one of the suites:

We got back after the sun rose and slept for 2 hours before driving home. It was an awesome weekend!

Summary: I am obsessed with Pai Gow (Thanks Brandon!) and VIVA LAS VEGAS. I freaking love that city...

BOO!

Since I moved out of San Diego, I miss all my friends and the chill vibe I get from being in PB. SO, I decided to spend Halloween on my old stomping grounds: The bars on Garnet.

My life speeds up every time I visit San Diego. It is insane, I can be in the city for less then a few hours and already have 12 ridiculous things go down.

Some of my favorite happenings include, but are definitely not limited to:
GOLF CART ride to a party in PB, being ridiculous at Moondoggies and Plum and losing everyone, Chargers game!!!, gossip sessions with Emily and Megan (I've never laughed harder in my life), rocking out to Pink, and watching blacked-out people fall down stairs.

Photo highlights:

Started out with some intense pumpkin carving with Jenn... We were being such wimps about touching the gooey pumpkin guts...Ew.

I went with the classic Jack-o-lantern with a radical 'stache!

Pre-party at Jealeisa's. Pre-Golf Cart ride.
I was Tom Cruise from Risky Business if you can't tell :)

...ADMWLKR... also cruised down to spend Halloween in SD. Rock of Love, anyone?

All those shenanigans technically went down on All Hallow's Eve. BUT, on actual Halloween, I was stoked to randomly end up at a CHARGERS game!! I have never been to an NFL game so I was amped to have my first experience be with the Chargers! Plus, there were crazy people dressed up everywhere. Such a scene.

CHARGERS WON!!!!! Celebratory flower kick on the way back to the car. WOOO!!!!

Such a fun weekend, it scrambled my brain slightly and I ended up being late for work on monday. Oops! But, I had such an awesome time!!!

Thank you Emily and Megan for always letting me stay with you and for our absolutely ridiculous talks and dance parties - "Call me up if you a GANGSTA"! I love you both!

P.S. I forgot to thank Belize in my last post for helping me out with all of this blog business. Check out her blog and adorable baby girl, Eve, here!
